Introduction to Tawheed for Beginner & Level 1

Tawheed is the very foundation of Islam on which all other pillars and principles depend. LA ILLAHA ILLA ALLAH. Therefore, it is of utmost importance for us to study and understand TAWHEED the way our prophet Mohammad pbuh conveyed it. Our prophet said: This is my path leading straight, so follow it. And do not follow the other paths or else you will be separated from His (Allah’s) path. Reported by Ibn Mas’ood and collected by an-Nasaa’ee. Allah subhanallah taala also mentioned in the Quran:”Most of them claim to believe in Allah but they really commit shirk”. (Quran chap.12:106)

Importance of Taharah and Salaah

Say (O Muhammad pbuh) verily, my Salat(prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and dying are for Allah, the Lord of the Alamin. (Quran 6:162).

O you who believe! When you intend to offer salat (prayer), wash your faces and your hands(forearms) up to the elbow, rub (by passing wet hands over) your heads, and wash your feet up to ankles. {Quran 5:6}

Salat (prayer) is an obligation imposed by Allah to his slaves.
Allah( subhanallah taala) said “I am with you if you perform As Salat.”

Seerah and Fiqh has been added to the New Muslim Curriculum 2 for all level (Beginner, one & two)

What is Seerah and its importance?
Seerah (سيرة‎) is an Arabic word that means the ‘biography’ or ‘life story’ of a person in general. In the Islamic context, Seerah mainly refers to the biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. But the word Seerah is also used for the life journey of other people, like the Seerah of Sabaha (RA). Seerah is also pronounced as ‘Seerah’, ‘Sirah’, ‘Seerat’, or ‘Sirat’.
Seerah gives us detailed history of the Prophet’s ﷺ life, from before and after he became a prophet, his efforts to spread Islam, the battles and challenges he faced, his personal life, etc. Its important as a Muslim to know his Biography as it Increase our Love to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ Allah chose the prophet Muhammad ﷺ to guide mankind. The Prophet ﷺ said, “None of you will attain true faith (Iman) until you love me more than your parents, your children, and the entire world.” [Sahih Bukhari].
The companions of the Prophet (RA) loved him more than anything else, as they knew him well. So, they followed him the most and experienced true faith. Studying Sirah helps you learn his great virtues, which will increase your Iman in sha Allah.

What is Fiqh & Importance?
The Fiqh is an Arabic word that means ‘deep understanding.’ But what is Fiqh in Islam? It can be translated to ‘jurisprudence’. It is to understand and interpret Islamic law based on the Quran and Hadith.
It is narrated by Ibn ‘Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “For whomever Allah wants good, he gives him understanding (Fiqh) in the religion. (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2645, Book 41, Hadith 1)
Fiqh provides clear guidance on how to lead a righteous and meaningful life based on Islamic teachings. It lays clear guidelines for Muslims on how to carry out Salah, pay Zakat, perform Hajj, etc., deal with family matters such as marriage and divorce, and conduct business and commerce fairly. It also guides on issues such as halal or haram food, the proper way to dress, and the rights and responsibilities of individuals.
May Allah grant us the ability to learn and understand the knowledge of HIS Deen. Ameen Ya Rabb.
